Daniel A. Cabrera wishes you a successfull and healthy 2010 New Year! Wow, what a year it was in 2009. Not only did most economies of the world suffer contraction and recession, but the world's "engine" for economic growth and consumption, the United States of America, faltered like never before. All of this added up to very tough times for consumers, businesses and national economies around the world.

Coming back from recession. In recent months, it appears that countries and companies in various parts of the world are starting to creep back from the brink of the "Great Recession". Latin America, while touched, was not quite so hammered as the USA or Europe. Even now, at mid-year, the Euro zone is trying to get back on its feet, and in the USA, multi-trillion dollar deficits and other issues are fostering a no-jobs recovery, which is not a welcome sign to the world. Asia, especially China, shows incredible resilience, and the recent 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa seems to bode well for that part of Africa. Others, hopefully will follow suit.

What does all this mean? It signifies that companies and individuals have to choose their targets and activities even more carefully, and then focus, focus, focus to get growth and ROI to levels that justify the efforts. One major factor to help make things happen is going to be EXPERIENCE. Take someone who has a relatively short tenure in dealing with the complexities of business, international business, in particular, and you're likely to find someone unaccustomed to the challenges and realities of what is happening in the world today. On the other hand, if you choose to work with and align yourself, your customers, your opportunities with someone who is experienced and dedicated to the long-term success of the enterprise, then chances are improved significantly for success.

That someone, in multiple respects, is a person who understands the realities of the world, has a firm vision of customer satisfaction and business development, and is willing to put in the time and effort to make things happen.

Cross-industry experience also includes commercial and residential finance industry knowledge, built while leading marketing, business development, web strategies and demand generation for a successful California financial organization.
