Recent experience includes managing a two-tier distribution network and sales development in Latin America for a leading network security firm (just gone private), knowledge of the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model for solutions of all kinds, and multiple high-tech product and service lines. Cross-industry experience also includes commercial and residential finance industry knowledge, built while leading marketing, business development, web strategies and demand generation for a successful California financial organization. Most recently, in a short-term assignment, Cabrera built an entire go-to-market plan for taking a small, British network security firm into the USA via Value-added Resellers (VARs), while also adding a brand-new "Security as a Service" (SaaS) delivery model for providing network security to the hospitality industry.
